Jon Johnson is a federal IT procurement professional, program leader, and strategist. His specialties include IT Procurement, IT Leadership, IT Governance, and IT Strategy. He has worked at the General Services Administration on strategic procurements related to the Federal Cloud Computing Initiative, Federal IT Shared Services Strategy, and the Digital Government Strategy, and focuses on Cloud Computing and Mobility. He is currently launching a new division dedicated to vendor engagement and analysis, and is also actively pursuing his PhD at the Virginia Tech Center for Public Administration and Policy concentrating on IT Policy, IT Procurement Policy, Organizational Leadership and Organizational Decision Making.

This session will specifically discussion the validity of Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative (FSSI) as a means to better manage carrier services for DOD. Development and execution efforts will be shared.
